Remove Battery
Place HT facedown on Soft Surface
Remove Black Plastic cover plate (Located at lower right corner of back of HT)
Locate Blue wire (Directly under cover plate)
Clip Blue Wire and insulate the ends to prevent shorting.
Re-attach battery
Hold down [F] key & power on.

Your HT is now capable of Transmitting out of Freq.

REMINDER: It is Illegal to transmit out of Frequency with out MARS/CAP PERMIT
