Icom IC-751A (IC 751 A IC751A) General coverage mod

  1. Remove top and bottom covers from rig.
  2. Remove cover for RF unit (left side).
  3. Locate J2 near center of RF board (multi-pin connector).
  4. Clip brown wire (pin 1). Maybe the wire is black
  5. Rig will now transmit in Gen. Cov. mode above 1600 khz.
