Icom IC-970H (IC 970 H IC970H) mod

ON IC-970/970H schemas ,there are 2 receptions'heads on 2 meter band.

  • One with Q8 rf amplifier (144/148mhz.
  • One with Q15 rf amplifier (136/174 mhz).

To use the heads separately its necessary to remove D17 on the jonction L32, C82, C40 and connect to the diode D17 with coaxial cable with plug BNC behind the transceiver.

RESULTS: TRCV 144.300 on the side
     RECEIVER 144.300 on the other side =1296.300, 2320.300 etc etc.
     receiver 150.000 mhz - oscillator qz 100 mhz= 50.000 mhz
     (rx all modes).
