Recently bought icom ic-3230h transceiver that was already WideBand - to delete previous owners Memory Channels i carried out a Rig Reset only to find that rig had defaulted to factory default. after searchng all known sites to no avail - rang ICOM UK who where very helpfull -

This is the trick :- Hold- (V/Mhz)+(SET/LOCK)+ (Down Button on Microphone) Turn Power back on (Whilst holding these 3 buttons) and thats it !! WideBand Restored. By cutting Diode 9 gives auto repeater facility.
